Welcome Spring!

Husband and I had the most wonderfully exhausting and rejuvenating weekend. (Exhausting and rejuvenating? … YES) We visited his parents farm in Virginia. There is nothing more beautiful than sitting in the sun breathing in peaceful country air. Can you feel it? Spring has definitely arrived and I am normally resisting … I do love winter the most. But there is something about this Spring that I am welcoming with open arms.

Maybe it is the lemon zest smell still on my hands. I first got the idea from One More Moore. Soon after seeing her jars I made jars and jars of homemade Lemon Curd that was soon to be delivered to all that we love. Husband was instructed to take some pictures before they were delivered.



Easter Sunday was spent with my family. Sometimes eating at other homes can be stressful for your Celiac Girl, but as our families are learning and adapting it just warms my heart. My Aunt made coleslaw and deviled eggs with ingredients friendly to my ever so sensitive tummy. Deviled eggs are not my favorite, but I think I had 4! Just the thought of the amount of care and love, I couldn’t resist.
