i stepped on the scale and smiled

i have so much to catch you all up on. so many changes. all wonderful happenings. unfortunately they are all documented on my camera and due to not knowing where my camera connector thingy (official name) is i will have to have multiple posts another day. i am so happy to report that the personal training is absolutely paying off. last night was my weigh in. i was so nervous. the big moment of truth, 30 pounds lost! nope, not a typo. 30 pounds. my bmi was down 6 points and body fat percentage was down 5 points. those are huge numbers people, huge.

maggie, my encourager and kicker of my ass, was super excited and we are talking about training for a 5k. seriously, who am i. i am still trying to figure that out but i really like this new me. it is nice to feel athletic again, well starting too. it is so great to have more energy to actually want to get outside and be active. maggie was sure to tell me not to expect to lose 30 pounds each month, our goal is going to be to lose 15. i am pushing for 20.

the funniest moment was right after i read the scale and it sinking in that i had lost 30 pounds, i quickly asked maggie if this meant we could relax during that session and go grab some ice cream to celebrate. she just laughed and said, no this means we are going to push you to the next level. and let me tell you, she did. i don’t think i have ever sweat so much!

seriously, thank you all for your support and encouragement. i truly have the most amazing support.

Thanks Susan! I have been working out with a personal trainer for 4 weeks, mostly 3 times a week. Watching portions and drinking a ton of water. It has been great!! Thank you so much for the comment :) I hope you and Tim are doing well!
