my first giveaway!

my readers are hilarious! you guys had me and my husband rolling with all of your creative guesses. this whole give away is already more fun than i thought it would be, and i thought it would be fun so that is sayin’ something. honestly, i think yesterday’s comments were a great way to see what you guys want for future give aways (wink, wink)!

so for my first give away for my amazingly intelligent readers is an autumn themed place setting for four. if you are chosen you will receive four natural color ribbed placemats, four brown wicker napkin rings, and four handmade napkins. (i tied together my tutorial yesterday with the give away, i know … pretty clever!) everyone that wrote a comment or sent me an email has been entered two times into the random drawing. gindy and mariam both guessed napkins! you lovely ladies have officially had your names entered three times. (what smart mothers we have!!)

i was trying to show the detail of the stitching. thanks to my mother in law sharing her sewing machine with me, i have all these new stitches to play around with. around the border i used a simple leaf stitch. i would also like to thank her for the christmas present i am just now getting to use … can you see them in the picture? the “handmade by kelsi” tags were so thoughtfully given to me and i absolutely love them!

so the rules, how do you enter?

well, there are two different ways to increase your chances. first, leave a comment to this post.

second, blog about my give away and give people my link. snag any of the photos here to put in your blog post. blog it. twitter it. facebook it. do any of that and it gives you FIVE extra entries. then come back and tell me about it with a link to your blog.

i’ll close the contest at 7:00pm US EST on Wednesday, September 16th. ALL winners will be selected by random draw using a fancy computer program that is way more complicated than putting names in a hat.

i hope you all are excited and enter to win!! good luck!

Kelsi, such an artistic lady.....I don't think I can beg any better than the previous posts. They certainly sound like professionals to me!! (How do we really know it's a random drawing)However, as you know I have a fall-loving daughter who visits us occasionally. I just KNOW how much she will love it when I serve our family meals on these bea-u-ti-ful placemats with fall napkins. You see, if I receive your works of art, it will be a win-win situation!!!

May you please consider me for the napkins, placemat and wicker napkin rings. Oh how I do love fall and this would look just wonderful in my home. I will be sure to take a picture of an especially cute little girl sitting at the table modeling her new knit hat with her mama's new place setting. I sure hope I win:)

Kelsi! I so want those napkins--and with name tags, no less. I could invite all your former teachers over for lunch and we could sit and talk about how wonderful you were in middle school. Would that give me extra opportunities to win? As you can imagine, I am not a blogger or a twitterer, and barely a facebooker. But, I want those napkins. Take pity on me and have your darling husband maneuver the results in my favor. Thanks so much. I am already planning a fabulous fall ladies' luncheon featuring your (oops, my) new napkins.Love and hugs.

Very pretty items and the tags are a very nice touch...I would have missed the guess as typical me, I thought it had something to do with State and football...Mark A
