weekly menu

in an attempt to find a new normal for us, i decided to go back to our weekly menu organization. doing this each week helped cut grocery cost, avoid the “what is for dinner” question, and allowed me to organize my time to make more homemade goodness.

sunday
homemade pizza. home grown and canned tomato sauce. other toppings could include bacon, cheese, peppers from garden.

monday
stuffed peppers
seriously, these are amazing. we don’t use any meat and i add black beans. oh man. you all will definitely have to try them.

tuesday
yakitori
with brown rice and fresh green beans, sauteed.

wednesday
open face caprese sandwich
fresh homemade bread with roasted red potatoes and carrots from our garden

thursday
wedding anniversary celebration! not sure what we have planned but i know it doesn’t involve me cooking or doing dishes!

friday
chicken enchiladas

saturday
summer stir fry

sunday
whole grain gluten free spaghetti with grass-fed whole foods meatballs and homegrown and canned tomato sauce
